Do you have some spare time on
Wednesday morning? At St. Mark’s we worship on
every Wednesday at 10:30 AM (or close to it) and we
always depart to Arby’s to love and serve the Lord.
That’s right – Arby’s.
It all started about eight years ago
with two parishioners and the Rector breaking bread
together in the church. Now we are over a dozen
every week and some weeks we are almost 20 strong.
We worship in the Hall in a circle around a round
table (altar).
It is a laid back "said" Eucharist
with less ritual and more contemplation and prayer.
Our time afterwards gives us a great opportunity to
have lunch together and to spend time discussing
currents issues and telling a joke or two. There is
always a good laugh.
The staff and patrons of Arby’s have
come to expect us each week and even put out a sign
to reserve our spots each week. It is a great small
group ministry and we are happy to make it larger
and to share it with others. If you would like a
beef a cheddar on Wednesday – drop by and see us at
